To better serve inbound travelers to Beijing, on August 7, Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA), together with Trip.com Group, joint inspection units, and airlines, announced 16 new measures to enhance inbound tourism services. These focus on five key areas: flight network, shopping options, service experience, efficiency, and tourism products—extending a warm and practical welcome to global visitors.

Earlier this year, BCIA launched the "Beijing Service" counter outside Exit B of the International Arrival Hall in Terminal 3. This one-stop hub offers currency exchange, SIM cards, tour bookings, and cash withdrawals for foreign cardholders. It has already served over 110,000 international visitors. Right next to it, the “FREE LAYOVER TOUR SERVICE” counter has helped nearly 5,000 travelers from more than 80 countries explore the city.⁣
BCIA now supports multiple payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, as well as cash, Alipay, WeChat Pay, and Digital RMB (e-CNY). Travelers can also access 6 currency exchange offices, 2 banks, and 11 ATMs across terminals.

Over 50 tax refund shops have also been added, covering convenience stores and specialty souvenir shops—offering international visitors a more seamless and rewarding experience in Beijing.
